The output of the Rescaler (scaled) is mixed with the input of the SyncMixer or the Resampler. The Rescaler is a Frequency modulated oscillator. (FM oscillator). It modulates the input with a frequency which is a low pass filter with a cut off frequency of the input. In the case of a (Mn/Delta)-Oscillator the input is a Sinus wave. The input is lowpass filtered to reduce the harmonics in the output. Here the input to the rescaler is also a Sinus wave. Mn/Delta. The first number Mn is a value which determines the cutoff frequency. When the cutoff frequency is reached harmonics in the FM-Oscillator drop. Delta. The second number Delta is the distance between the peaks and troughs. When the distance between peaks and troughs is reached the oscillator generates a square wave. (Mn/Delta)-Oscillator is the simple version of a FM-Oscillator. Freq. This setting controls the modulation. It is set to 88.5 which indicates that the Modulator is set to the central 80% of the FM-Wave. This is the way the lowest modulation possible should be set. Modulator. controls the frequency modulation. It is set to the central 80% which is between the lowest and the highest value. Output. This setting determines the output voltage. Scale.
